The Challenge
Invasive plants poses a serious threat to Australian agriculture
Harmful weeds cause Australian agriculture and animal husbandry to lose up to tens of millions per year, however, inappropriate treatment for invasive weeds by farmers and landowners may lead to soil issue, water issue and other weed-related problems.
The Solution
Designed a web application featuring image recognition which can be used by farmers and landowners for identifying harmful weeds, getting effective advice from agricultural experts, taking corrective control method and reporting invasive weeds to agricultural department.
